     Hunnish Sword

  DESCRIPTION
(5th century AD) : long cavalryman broadsword, double-edged and lenticular section blade, long wooden handle covered with leather (since no metallic pommels were found in graves, handles should have been fairly long like on the Brout sword for a better balance and maybe a double hand use)
